I read your book “Our Father’s War: My Dad’s letters during the war” and enjoyed it a lot! I enjoy reading about World War II especially unique ones and yours certainly fit that bill! I also have an interest in your country so it was a double treat. You dad seemed like a very interesting man.

I enjoyed reading the book Our Fathers War, sort of reminds me or my life as a young man but in a different era. Persons like your father are what made this world worth worrying about. He was a very strong and bright man but with guts to spare as you can tell by what he went through. All that hardship & such a common way of putting his effort towards such a great cause. All England should be honoring his work and self control. thanks for such a nice book. god bless

As the son of a Canadian WWII bomber pilot I enjoy reading the first person accounts of that generation . Your father’s letters reveal a very thoughtful and eloquent man. In writing your ebook you have honored him beautifully. We can all learn much from his sense of duty and his perspective on the wider world.

Hi Julie, I’ve just read your book “Our Father’s War” and thoroughly enjoyed it. You have honoured your father’s World War Two service beautifully and I thoroughly recommend it to other readers, especially New Zealanders.
